Xylen Sling Mounts

Guntology, a growing firearm accessory company, was looking to shake things up in their market. With a wealth of experience in the space, they had a large backlog of ideas for potential products, and contacted End Effect to help realize them. The first was a series of sling mounts designed to maximize wearer mobility and reduce operational noise.

The project began with developing the client’s vision and brainstorming ways to implement it into the form factors that were already standard across the market. From there, a deeper requirements set was built, and concepts were developed as alternatives to several common styles of mounts. Several rounds of prototypes were produced and tested by the client and its customers to validate the designs. End Effect also introduced a soft goods studio to the project to develop custom sling designs to round out the product catalog.

The Xylen line is currently in its pilot production run, and is slated to be one of the flagship product lines of the Guntology brand, with interest from several major retailers of firearms accessories and local customers alike.
