Milky Plant Plus

Milky Plant contacted End Effect to review the concept for their second-generation product, and to rework it to be manufacturing friendly.

The project began with a deep dive into the client’s initial design, during which several challenges were discovered in the desired form of the product, as well as assembly vibration concerns. From here, we concepted a new overall form that mimicked the original but allowed for part variants to be injection molding friendly. Once that was approved, we carried forward to detail these components, including the design of snap fits, fastener locations, and vibration dampening elements. Milky Plant went on to prototype this design for testing and ultimately pushed it forward with their manufacturers.

Milky Plant Plus is currently in production and is slated to be available for purchase in mid-2025.
