Invictus Shield

A strategic protection solution for first responders, hidden in plain sight.

LE1R Distribution approached End Effect looking for engineering support for their new product; the Invictus, a ballistic shield with a customizable façade to help it blend in with its surroundings.

The project began with LE1R having several working prototypes and the basic concept fleshed out. End Effect helped them to refine this, creating a handle locking mechanism, designing injection molded and extruded components, doing tolerance studies, and addressing many of the finer details of the design to optimize manufacturing and assembly for production. The client also required a user manual and sales sheet, which we were happy to craft for them.

LE1R is currently producing and selling the Invuctus Shield to school districts across the state of Texas and beyond, and has contracted End Effect to aid in the development of their next generation of products as well.

“End Effect has been an invaluable asset to our team. Their ability to take complex ideas and translate them into functional, real-world solutions is nothing short of remarkable. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to quality are second to none. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any engineering or design-related endeavor.”
