Heavyweight Drywall Anchor

After the success of the Safe Step Stairs, Tri Line Services contacted End Effect with a new concept to develop. With their background in other home contracting projects, the client identified a market for a new type of drywall anchor that would allow for much greater loads to be handled from only a single point of installation.

End Effect went to work developing the requirements, including sizing, desired pricing, installation methodology, and more. From there, a concept was developed that utilized mechanical interactions on injection molded parts to secure the anchor and disperse the load across a much greater area. The concept was prototyped and successfully validated, and Tri Line Services went on to work with a injection molding firm to optimize the design for larger production.
